Captain Asteroid Season Two was a Cinemadrome "series" style event, premiering on September 14, 2019. Teams were tasked to create a seven-and-a-half minute episode of the Cinemadrome original sci-fi serial "Captain Asteroid", about a former Dimensional Time Force commander who is able to travel across time and space by dimension-hopping, with the caveat that his outward physical appearance changes with every teleport. Teams were given a style guide and required elements, which guided them to help create cohesion between the episodes. Captain Asteroid was renewed for Season Three, which has been announced to be the final season, but no date has been set for the event.
