Cinemadrome is a local filmmaking community, collective and competition started in 2015. Since then, Cinemadrome has held nearly 30 events of various types that invite filmmakers of all levels to make films to share them with the community at large.
Since the beginning, our home has been The Backyard at Boca Fiesta & Palomino, where all screenings have reached seating capacity and have become standing room only. In 2021, in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cinemadrome introduced a live stream option of their Sweded Film Fest, which allowed us to double our live event viewership, with 35% of the audience voting metric coming from the live stream.
Cinemadrome aims to keep their events free and open to the public and to allow filmmakers of all levels and from all walks of life to express their artistic freedom.
