The Cinemadrome 240 Hour Film Race was held May 25, 2019, at The Backyard at Boca Fiesta/Palomino. Though Cinemadrome had held film races on a yearly basis, this was the first of its kind.  Teams were prompted to make a seven-and-a-half minute original film using required elements within a 240-hour (10 days) time span. The event came about due to the postponement of the Captain Asteroid Season 2 event and the absolute disdain for trying to do a 48-hour movie at the time. The decision was made to just let teams have 10 days, but urged teams to use their original film as a "proof of concept", for either a future Cinemadrome community project or for the team's own purposes.

THE 240 HOURS 

• Start: May 9, 2019, 6pm 

• End:  May 19, 2019, 6pm.

• Screening: Saturday, May 25, 2019, at The Backyard at Boca Fiesta/Palomino.

REQUIRED ELEMENTS

• Each team selected an individual unique genre.  

• Action: A gift or favor.

• Prop: A kerchief or handkerchief.

• Line of dialogue: "Oh, god! Why!?"
