Cinemadrome's Shakespeare in the Backyard was an adaptation style event screened live at the Backyard on March 30, 2019.  Teams had from March 15 (the Ides of March) through March 24 to create a seven-and-a-half-minute adaptation of a Shakespeare play.  Teams were able to choose either their play or their genre, with the other being randomly selected from a pre-determined list. The choice to keep Shakespearean era dialog was left up to the teams.
